Update

I felt that it was appropriate for my blog post today for me to give you an update on what has been going on in my personal life.

I said this on my Facebook, but I'll say it here, too. My fiancé lost his job and things have been crazy at my house since then. Although I've been writing regularly still, I haven't had the same access to the Internet that I used to. Most of my Internet access has been on my smartphone, which I recently purchased and am using right now to write this post.

I'm telling you this because I want to explain why I haven't been posting as much on any of my accounts (Facebook, twitter, blog.) Hopefully everything will be resolved soon and go back to normal.

But until then, I've been getting a lot of writing done. Here's what I've been working on:

1. I finished the first draft of the first book in a trilogy about necromancers. The main character is cursed and accidentally killed her boyfriend by giving him her first kiss. She hides the body to keep from going to jail, but her boyfriend, now a ghost keeps following her. He wants a second chance at love even though she has a body and he doesn't. It's about the struggles in their relationship and also the complications being a necromancer brings to their lives.

2. I finished editing the second draft (but there will be more) of a romance novella. In this story, the main character falls in love with the reader.

3. I have about 10k words written about an empath who falls in love with a cyborg. And all the problems that come with someone who's in tune with everyone's emotions falling in love with someone who's mostly synthetic.

----

I also have a few other projects I am working on, including one about an evil mermaid, but they are either in their early stages or I may be publishing them under a pen name. So I'm not going to talk about them as much.

So a part of me is sad that I'm not on social media as much, but another part of me is having a ton of fun writing a lot.

What projects are you working on? What would you like to see me work on? (I'm very open to suggestions right now.)

Number 1 and number 2 sound AWESOME. Like, AWESOME. I love number 2 especially (so unique). I'm so sorry your life has been hectic, and here's to hoping it'll all settle down soon!

I'm agreeing with SC here-- I love the first two. Number 3, though, I'll need a bit more information to really dive headfirst into the story, but I'm looking forward to seeing what you show us.

I don't even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great. I do not know who you are but certainly you are going to a famous blogger if you are not already ;) Cheers!

Hi. I personally am interested in the evil mermaid. That is quite unique. Myself, I have my first book published titled, "Ankh: Conquering the Seven Deadly Sins." It's published under my pen-name: Pandora When you can, check it out: www.sbpra.com/Pandora. I'm hoping to start a sequel to my Ankh soon. You are an amazing writer with a talent that stands out on its own. Bravo!
