Update on Medusa's Desire

If you are curious about what my new book will be about, check it out here.

I just wanted to update everyone on the progress of getting my novel published. I hired an editor and finished editing the manuscript last week. I'm tweaking the formatting, but have to wait to upload it until the copyright goes through, which will take (on average) two and a half months, according to the site, so we're waiting on that.

Let's just hope it doesn't take six months, which is apparently, the longest it should ever take!

e.b. what's the whole copyright issue? I didn't know you had to submit your book to a special site to get your copyright.

Cheers :)

The government gives people copyrights. You have to pay them a small amount of money and apply for a copyright in order to receive one. Then they'll keep it in their records that the story belongs to you.

You don't *have* to get a copyright before you publish your book, but if someone steals your novel and you try to sue them for it, your case won't stand up in a court of law without the copyright.

Long wait, but it'll be worth it.
